San Marzano (Determinate) Tomato
This is the compact version of the famous San Marzano, with all the same flavor, but more compact for container growers and people with limited space. Determinate varieties tend to produce most of the fruit at one time, rather than throughout the season. This is a highly productive, meaty variety with bright red fruit that are 2-3 inches long and weigh 5-6 ounces. This is a fantastic tomato for sauces, and pureeing. A truly legendary sauce tomato! Crack resistant and high yielding. Perfect for sauce, paste, salsa, and canning. Determinate tomatoes ripen all at once so it’s easy to put them up in quantity.
