Tansy

Tansy, also known as golden buttons, garden tansy, and bitter buttons—is a perennial herb in the daisy family (Asteraceae), related to asters, sunflowers, and chrysanthemums. It typically grows 1 to 5 feet tall and blooms from midsummer to early fall with clusters of fragrant, button-like yellow flowers. The upright stems are lined with fern-like, aromatic leaves that give tansy its distinctive look.
